PINGELAP
Concept and curatorial | Alessando Carboni and Chiara Castaldini
Production | Formati Sensibili, 2018 ongoing
Pingelap is an artistic creation project curated by Alessandro Carboni and Chiara Castaldini dedicated to children and young people. The project combines visual arts, creative movement, and outdoor education to foster new ways of observing and inhabiting the world. The workshops stimulate perceptive, bodily, and project-oriented skills, encouraging an experiential approach in which listening and observation become tools for knowledge. Through activities based on the use and reuse of natural and everyday materials, participants explore space and activate unexpected creative processes, transforming direct contact with the environment into opportunities for discovery and reflection.
Pingelap workshops take place in schools, theatres, festivals, and broader educational contexts, and are often part of projects supported by European institutions and community welfare programs. The project is supported and part of Formati Sensibili.
