Ostun is a dark, one-act performance written by Alessandro Carboni and created in 1999 at the CPA Fi-sud laboratories. Blending ritual gesture, raw imagery, and fragmented narration, the work unfolds in a tense, suspended atmosphere inhabited by three figures — Lemno, L’Ossuto, and La Boa. Through collisions of light and darkness, sound and silence, the performance traces a visceral anatomy of waiting, violence, and transformation. Stones fall rhythmically, a tongue is nailed to the ground, and bodies wrestle in obscurity — gestures that evoke sacrifice and rebirth. Ostun is a ritual of matter, flesh, and persistence.
