Context explores the idea of context as an interwoven system of relations that define an event. Starting from the Latin etymology con-tèxere (“to weave together”), the project investigates the relationship between what happens and the conditions that generate it. It is a modular, mutable organism that takes on visual, performative, sound, and textual forms, each reflecting the same inquiry.
The triangle is the basic geometric unit: a cell capable of creating patterns, generating rhythms, narratives, and abstract worlds. This “mobile network” expands through minimal variations, producing infinite combinations. Performative actions activate the network, turning bodies into devices that traverse, deconstruct, and reconstruct emotional and physical spaces.
Context is an analog map, continuously updated, translating the fragility of the real into three dimensions: a mental landscape that exists only through experience. A tentacular, unstable body that continually reshapes itself.
Each iteration stems from the same principle: duality, alternation, multiplicity. The versions adapt to their surroundings—museums, urban spaces, theatres, natural environments—transforming in response to the energies and tensions of each space. Every version is an instant of a fluid process.
