AISTHANOMAI
Project by | Alessandro Carboni and Gregory Petitqueux
Aisthanomai was an experimental collective founded in Florence between 1997 and 1998 by Alessandro Carboni and Gregory Petitqueux, both students at the Accademia di Belle Arti, together with other artists active in the Florentine scene. The group explored the intersection of mechanical installation, spatial design, and live performance, creating large-scale works that merged visual and performative languages. Their activities were mainly based at the CPA/FI-Sud social center, housed in the former Longinotti factory, a hub of artistic and political experimentation now disappeared. Works such as Daidalos and Kepher were presented at festivals including La 3 Giorni del CPA/FI-Sud and the Splitsko Proljeće Festival in Split.
